DIY CARDBOARD FOX MASK

Child dressed up as Fantastic Mr Fox with a cardboard fox mask

Book week is coming up here in Australia and the book Fantastic Mr Fox is one our favourites. My kids love the character Mr Fox and the book has always been a favourite at bedtime. So it seems only fitting to create a cardboard costume mask for them to wear for this year's book week.

Cardboard is the perfect material to use for a fox mask, it makes a great 3 dimensional snout and enables the ears to stand up and flick out.

This mask is surprisingly easy to assemble and includes optional printable overlays to customise your look. Choose between the full colour design or the more natural black and white version, or get creative and make it your own with paint, fur, or other fun decorations. The only limit is your imagination!

A simple and fun way to dress up as your favourite character for Book Week, Halloween, or imaginative play around the house. The mask is designed to fit both children and adults, so everyone can join in the fun...you could even create the whole Fantastic Fox family!
